“ Yorkville gem!!! After hearing all great things about Tinos for years, we finally visited for dinner after 4 years, and it did not disappoint. We ordered pita with spreads, jumbo shrimp, Greek seafood paella, grilled white fish, and lamb chopsall of which were excellent. While its not Michelin level cuisine, the dishes are perfect as a neighborhood family style restaurant. The manager was incredibly warm and welcoming. Although we were rushed during peak hours, he graciously offered us take out dessert as an apology. Super lovely restaurantwill definitely be back! ”
“ We went here on Valentines Day and they served a prixe fixe menu for 65 per person that was so filling we had to bring items home. Everything was so delicious and the service was great. Their dining room has a narrow walkway that I thought was going to be a bigger issue than it was but just be mindful of this if you have limited mobility. Very good atmosphere and the dessert was great. ”
“ This local Greek restaurant is a slice of the Mediterranean right in our neighborhood. From the moment you walk in, youre welcomed like familywarm, relaxed, and full of heart. The food is outstanding fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and portions that leave you more than satisfied. We especially love the Kokkinisto veal and the eggplant dish imam and the homemade dessert are next level. Everything tastes authentic, like it came straight from a seaside taverna in Greece. The owners Yannis and Lia are wonderful and attentive without ever being overbearing, and the atmosphere is just rightcozy, modern, and full of character. You can tell they care deeply about what they do, and it shows in every detail! ”
“ LOVE this place!! the lady hostess its so nice and sweet and even gave us free desserts. The octopus was the best and it was so flavorful. We had the pita with the different dips and the pita was so warm and the dips are so tasty. The grilled shrimp was good and the Greek salad was fresh crispy and delicious. Will be coming back such a lovely service and food. ”
“ Tinos is a wonderfully inviting and absolutely delightful and delicious Greek restaurant on First Avenue between 90th 91st Street and. We were welcomed by Tino who took our orders and personally made us feel like we were old friends. Within minutes of our 6pm reservation, the entire restaurant was filled with guests, many of whom seemed to be familiar with their wonderful menu. If you sre thinking of coming, youd be smart to make a reservation. I had the lamb chops that were perfectly prepared. They came with crispy fries. My wife had the branzino, which was also delicious. And to my surprise, all the dinners come either a delicious cake, that was phenomenal. While we live 30 blocks south, well be returning very soon. I forgot to mention thatcwe started with a huge Greek Salad and a plate of humus and other dips served with warm pita! And if youre celebrating a birthday, the restaurant darkens and the fireworks begin! All the guests joined in singing happy birthday to the lucky recipient! ”
“ Oh. My. God. I didnt think I could eat so much food but everything was so delicious. This has to be the best pork chop Ive ever had. The Greek salad was also great. Highly recommend ”
“ What a delicious discovery in my Yorkville neighborhood. Tasty Greek food, some standards, and some special dishes. We started with a tasty humos platter with grilled seasoned pita bread and a grilled breaded cheese. The steak was delicious with seasoning and oregano. For desert we had a flaky dough, custard filled pastry. Theyve a short wine list and Greek beer. Well add this to our list of neighborhood favorites. ”
“ Very great service with great food friendly people! They were so sweet helpful! I dined by myself for dinner. They were very kind! Food was Wish I could bring them to Canada ”
